Okay. I love these books. I do.
But.
I'm going to need a little more story and less of a London-based geography lesson. The anecdotes have always been part of the story but for some reason this time around it's making me edgy 0_0

man I love this series, I love what an idiot Peter is, I love that Beverly's back!!! and I LOVE how big the supporting cast has gotten omg. I even like Lesley in this book - but I miss the double team of Peter and Nightingale from the first two omg

this one feels weird. like there technically is a case or three, but it doesn't actually feel like they're really investigating anything. idk, just something w the events / structure so far

Disappointed I'm already more than halfway through this series. Once I'm done there won't be any more good series to read.

Romping along in true Peter Grant style - a good book!

I love police procedurals. I honestly do. But god damn get better at magic.

Seriously everyone is better at magic then them.

I feel like they should be better at magic by this point.

I really enjoy these books but the author’s pop culture references (his eyes wide, his balls on fire - genius) are those of a 50-year old. I should know. I am one. But Peter Grant isn’t. Other than that: brill!

London may already be strange enough.
