Status Updates From Sexy Just Walked Into Town

The Scribe is another weird fetish story, but it was sweet and simple. Three stars

Francesca's Mother. Um. What? This was so random and disjointed, like a scene from an erratic and odd dream. Did the unnamed narrator just sniff the armpit of that random woman? I mean, really? She sniffed that stranger's hairy armpit as part of the sexual encounter. Weird. Two stars. Bordering three.

Caught Naked (?) was pretty good. I enjoyed the thrill of nearly being caught in that situation. The added adrenaline really can make the sex hotter. Three stars for that one.

The last story gets 2 stars. I'm bored and the only thing holding me to this book is that it will go toward the challenge. Are we done yet?

It's been so long, I can't remember which story this was. It was the invest one. It was okay. Just okay. Three stars.

The Wife was the tenth story, I think. Finally, a story that I enjoyed! But still only worth three stars.

I am finally done with with that story! It gets one star for not being able to hold my attention at all. Maybe Britlit just isn't my thing. At least not of the erotica variety.

I have determined that Brit lit isn't my thing - at least erotic Brit lit. I put this down weeks ago, it seems, and I have no impulse to pick it back up. Finally got through the ass tickling in this story and its onto another.... nope this story is still going. Sigh.

So glad to be done with this latest story, Secret Servicing. I just skimmed the last half of the story. It was a good concept, and not poorly written, but not quite executed well. I was bored. I was irritated. This gets 2 stars from me. Not my cuppa'.

Story #7, Topiary. Definitely not for me. 3 reluctant stars. I'm not into the weird shaving fetish, but that's not the only reason this one lost points. Like the first "story", this is only a scene. It completely lacks context, character development, or even sense. Yep, not into it.

Stones, story #6. 4 solid stars. Maybe 5. It's weird, unusual, creative, and pretty sexy. It would not work as a larger piece; it's just right as a short story.

Story number 5, The Wrong End of the Stick, gets a very reluctant 3 stars. First: what's with the title? The story had a good start and was well written. But then we got going and the dialogue was dull and mundane. I found myself wondering when it would ever end! The sex was out of character and incredibly tame. Boring.

Book four, Figment, was definitely different. Definitely, defiantly, out of the box. The sex was pretty hot, the story was superficial. but, then it's a short story, not sustainable in the long run. Definitely weird. 3 stars

Five solid stars for story number three. First off, the title includes the disclaimer that this story is associated with another story. It is well written and hot. I would like to read the trilogy! This left me satisfied but wanting more, a perfect combination for this kind of novella.

I have finished two stories so far. Well, one actual story, with at least partially developed characters, a beginning, a middle, and an end, and one blurb that cannot really be called a story so much as a scene, probably from a larger piece of work. So barely one star for Flesh for Fantasy and three solid stars for Red Rag to a Bull.
