Status Updates From Summoned (Summoned, #1)

So far this book has the distinction of compelling me to keep reading while simultaneously hating everything about it. The characters suck and are almost laughably one dimensional, the pacing is atrocious, so many scenes are completely unnecessary and just so boring and don't even get me started on Syd. What is up with this broad? I'm genuinely convinced she's clinically insane.

I reeeeeeaaally dislike Syd. Like the behavior is multiple red flags, and honestly it’s both of them but at least I understand dimitris flags at the moment (still doesn’t excuse the suckfest that is him) might be a dnf

Usually by this point in a book like this I can pretty much predict how it's going to end. Not with this book. I hope that's a good thing and the ending will be surprising and satisfying, rather than so implausible that I want to throw my Kindle across the room.

"On-suite bathroom"? Really? Don't use a foreign phrase if you can't be arsed to look up the spelling.

Enjoying the story, but the editing could definitely be improved. I mean I can forgive continuity errors that happen over the space of several chapters, but you can't expect me to believe two characters have to remove their clothes twice during the same sex scene.

I think dim is an absolute asshole
