A hard read but a needed one. I didn’t realize the amount of emotions I’ve suppressed until picking up this book. It’s hard to grieve and be expected to resume life as normal. I’m at a point now that I feel like I can process these emotions and not have it be too overwhelming that it consumes me. But nonetheless still hard to reopen a wound that has barely started to heal.
