Status Updates From Wildfire (Hidden Legacy, #3)

couple of things: I realized I’d already read this up until the last few pages so I ended up skimming after I got past midway. I found myself rolling my eyes several times, idk if I’m jaded to pnr, I used to love when the mmc were obsessive and controlling but now it just reads as annoying. the fmc does have a backbone but I wish there was more. also not rlly a fan of found family. writing seemed corny at times

Listen, graphic audiobooks can make just about anything worth listening to. While I’m not a fan of this icky cover art (at least dude has a shirt?) I’ve been finding this series reminiscent of those classic drama tv shows we grew up with as teenagers. So it’s a great listen for when you’re deep cleaning.

started this book, honestly the series is good, I almost wished I had read-read the last book. I definitely remember reading the second but not too sure about this one. maybe I had? I also updated my reads as a lot more books are 4 starts than I give them credit for. 4 stars isn’t supposed to wow me but be thoroughly enjoyable. 5 stars is wow and automatic re-read at some point. this would’ve been but forgotten
