The data in this part of the book is about the tricks used by the characters in the book series. There are 89 tricks used by most of the characters in the books. Light and L being the ones who use it to their advantages since they are against each other. L using the tricks as a detective helps find more info about Kira. Light uses it to kill others.

This went to how the writer had thoughts about the story and how it should be but scraped a lot of things for the final product of the book. Later on it gets to the secrets of the manager like one about when L died is last words were "...But...I" meaning he was going to say something along the lines of "I may have lost right now, but not yet". By L saying that was the foreshadowing of Mello, Near, and Matt.

This part of the book goes into the profiles about the Shinigami's (basically demons of death). It shows the most important shinigamis first. At the very end it shows a profile with no picture and with the intelligence, empathy, initiative, inquisitiveness, and kills are IMMEASURABLE. Meaning he's the king of the shinigamis realm. just under him is a shinigamis full of eyes as rank one. (The king is rank zero)

This book is about all the information about the entire Death Note manga, it has all the information about the characters and the information about the case they were working on that ended victorious for the police and the SPK(Lead by Near L's successor).

Viele Sachen sind hier überflüssig. Die Short-Comics waren gut, nur weil Misa im booty shorts war. Die One-Shot Death Note Story mit Taro war nicht schlecht, der Radiergummi ist ein interessantes Gegenstand, aber ich fand die Entscheidung, den Radiergummi aus dem Storyline zu entfernen, gut. Hab es nur gekauft, um meine Kollektion zu vollständigen. 3/5

Ohba isn't just disappointing me with his lack of thought when it comes to themes, he lowkey disappointed Obata too.

The theme of the story is "we will all die and not come back so we might as well do our best?" And "Light is very evil, L slightly evil and Soichiro good?" Knowing that makes this series worse. This man put all this good vs evil, order vs chaos, right vs wrong themes in his story and he cared about none of it. He just wanted to write plot twists and not examine morality bc "debating ideology is dangerous?"

right here, reviewing Death Note stuff HAHA the interviews are very interesting but the rules are confusing and exhausting to read lol the text are also really small so progress is frustratingly slow. but i only feel it after i'm done reading for the day, no biggie~

This is so cool omg

i’m enjoying the character analysis so far tho i feel like they’re a bit bland, especially misa’s. they chalked her up to the love struck idiot instead of going into detail about why she is so loyal to light.

* so far my favorite analysis has been mello’s

okay finished. this kind of acted as a character book for the series. did like the 4-koma though since they added some comedic moments and made a bit of fun of some of the characters. the one shot though was kind of weird and felt like it in some ways undid elements of the series with the way it played out. overall a fun volume though with some fun 4-koma and a weird one shot.
