maybe dnf it's not really what I expected and it feels like I'm forcing myself to read it :( i haven't dnf'ed in 3 years so I'll hopefully come back to it later :)

it’s a little weird that the only women that are ever nice to lan are killed tragically to progress her plot… the other women in this story seem to hate her on sight for no real reason and she has to rely on men to get help anywhere…
