Taking a break—not sure I can finish this. I love listening to John Waters when he talks to Terry Gross—he is articulate, intelligent, and very funny, but this book—the first third of it, at least—was just too raunchy, or maybe a better word is filthy—for me.

I hail from Baltimore so naturally I love John Waters;He is uniquely creative + candidly weird +whom I consider to be a rare gem of a human who marches to the beat of his own drum.
I thought this was a memoir of him trekking from Bmore to San Francisco—but it has been a work of fiction thus far.Tis Funny but raunchy;Def won’t be for everybody
