I hail from Baltimore so naturally I love John Waters;He is uniquely creative + candidly weird +whom I consider to be a rare gem of a human who marches to the beat of his own drum.
I thought this was a memoir of him trekking from Bmore to San Francisco—but it has been a work of fiction thus far.Tis Funny but raunchy;Def won’t be for everybody

I somehow acquired a copy of this but have never opened it. Maybe you'll inspire me to check it out.

Are you a John Waters fan? He’s definitely a shit talking, homegrown/Baltimore organic, avant-garde/art house gay man. He did the movies like “It’s a Dirty Shame,” “Hairspray”, “Crybaby” and “Pink Flamingos.” I never know if people are going to know who he is or not.
I've only seen one of his movies, the much-tamer "Cecil B. Demented!" Tamer by his standards, at least. I enjoyed it, even if I didn't exactly relate. I'm too timid from my Catholic upbringing to ever roll in the mud with Mr. Waters, though I'm pleased other folks get something out of it.
