Anna got a frantic phone call from 1 of the women that are visiting the island for the weekend (which is the same place the 1st murder took place). Another one of the women disappeared without a trace. Anna h Nate rush over as fast as they can through the snow. They found the missing woman Ariel in the shed where the other body is. Only they found Ariel dead from a shot to the head.

About half way through a brutal winter storm that hit straight into Frostfall Island & losing power for a portion of the night & came back on, Anna gets a frantic call from her friend Sera. Her husband has gone next door to check in these 4 women who are visiting the island from Vermont & comes back in a panic. 1 of the 4 ladies is dead. There's mention of the killer from the mainland called the "Pillow Talk Killer".

Anna & her friends on the island are getting ready for 1 heck of a snow storm.. They're fearing being snowed in for a few days & possibly without power.
