God directs him to a impeccably kept manor whose master never made it to after ensuring humanity’s destruction and building the manor of those profits, but without a human he declines (also god canned the previous valet to let Uncharles come so it’s just chilling in a dark closet)

Uncharles thinks Wonk is a robot who recharges at night and uses organic matter

A robot signal comes to it while she sleeps and it thinks it’s god, asks for parameters of a job they want and God will look for one but it warns to stay away from Wonk

God says this area was hit by catastrophe much sooner than the manors but it’s already started there too, ppl either didn’t know/believe or knew but profited from it

Meet a robotic doorman who’s never been wired fully just surviving off of solar cells so it’s dying to fulfill its purpose and gives them an exit to a wasteland

Uncharles senses some comms signal activity but doesn’t know where they run into a fellow valet robot Jul who’s run down and taking care of a manor that’s rubble

They escape to the furnace downstairs where stuff that has been copied is burned and robots are walking into the furnace themselves

There’s 17 “retired” human remains and while Wonk thinks they were forced into it Uncharles thinks it’s nice since robots were made to make human’s lives easier to enjoy retirement

but it’s Uncharles who notes that because the archive is in bit format that means all data can be recombined into any combo and thus Uncharles’ experience is already documented and thus all info possible is achievable … so they’ve either failed their task or completed it and the librarian shuts down lmaooo

Uncharles meets the chief librarian who proses they at the robot to the archive as it’s experiences are unique, but since no two copies can exist to prevent errors it means Uncharles’ data will be deleted, the wonk is NOT pleased about this

Wonk tries to use logic puzzles to burn out the chief librarian (since it and Uncharles are human-facing robots they’re able to function w illogical and contradictory statements)

Wonk is not allowed in without authority (guessing cuz she’s not a robot but Uncharles doesn’t know this yet) orrrr if she’s level 7+ so Uncharles says they’re from the farm where Dr.Washburn’s level 7+ status is still in progress to be demoted, they’re allowed entry!

Wonk asks the librarian robot Eloise a complicated question what happened to the humans

Wonk convinces Uncharles to go to the library with her and he suggests taking the haulers that took him to the farm as he now has access to their comms

They get there and hauler 94 kindly asks that if Wonk finds answers Uncharles passes those onto the hauler network, they have one task a set route but the meaning behind it might help doing the work

After accessing the files the central library message pops up saying all files have been removed for fear of corruption or breach and if a complaint needs to be filed shows a map of where to go, this also means all authority is taken from Washburn and so Wonk is released, Adam is no longer his servant and because Washburn is on the property he is forced to joined the farm project

She says she’s looking for the library archive, there’s traces of it everywhere, they even saw the librarians at diagnostics before but she can’t find it, all human history is preserved in it she’s hoping to find answers to where the humans have gone some closure

While she’s getting banished to the farm Uncharles gets the passwords from Adam, accesses farm office system so Wonk can search for clues of the library
