Not what I expected thus far. It’s not my favorite but it seems to be getting better. I do like the Chinese culture references and I love a good haunting. I will say, I do feel a bit dumb; but, I’ve had to look up a lot of words in this book so far and I’m just grateful I’m reading it on my kindle so it makes it easy for me
