Status Updates From Not Every River

I didn't 'believe' the chemistry between the couple in the previous book I read by McCoy, but that didn't matter as there was more stuff going on. This one seems more of a slow burn romance between two women who are completely unsuited for each other.

Don't particularly like Randi and see no real spark between her and Kim. From beginning when Randi just giggled insanely when she saw the Trilby hat and started calling Kim Trilly, to this point here. (though a Trilby hat is kind of stupid if you are attempting to keep the sun off you while working long hours outdoors).
