That other reviewer was right, the author is a boy crazy pick me. It says a lot that the males in the memoir was intricately woven into the narrative, while the women are mentioned on very surface level. Even the women she depended on for sending her resupplies like Lisa and others are only mentioned casually. Like hello, you DEPEND on these women for your trail survival, how about talking about them too?
