The claim that this book being one of the scariest novels had made me pick it up in a whim. Zoomed through the first third of the book and it began dragging through the middle chunk. Goingto finish it the rest with the audiobook at work, was not engaged at all but I didn’t want to dnf. The two doctors watching Regan doing impossible acrobatic stunts and responding the way they did was when the story turned me off.
