Ooh, not what I expected in a militaristically good way. Am loving it so far!

A very good book so far

I like what's happen but I need to connect more with the characters.

at the college... I'm trying to predict what's going to happen here. I'm sure I'll be wrong. still hoorah-ish, but the story is engaging enough that I'm caring less and less. a little put off by the misogynistic references to women, but this is a reality of life, which makes this feel real. bring on the zombies!

I'm not a girlie-girl and as such I loath big romance, and chic-lit and all that perfumed flowery goodness. I like zombies, sff, some horror, action, and writing that makes you think. All that said, despite being from a military family myself, I'm not fond of "military" stories. Hoping this moves away from the "hoorah!" and into the drama that only apocalyptic zombie tales can provide.

Hmm. Few ways to go wrong with zombies. So far, I'm in.
