IM LISTENING TO THE AUDIOBOOK OMFG ITS A GUY DOING FUNNY VOICES

I have just started and his literary prose that he utilized helped me teach my daughter about writing.However, I was confused in the beginning he describes a cab as a four wheeler and he grabbed the wheel. They did not have automobiles in late 19th century England so describe it this way was difficult.

Weird little book. Sort of women's lib until it turns misogynist. Then it switches to a financial scandal a la Trollope. If it weren't so short I'd quit, but it is weirdly enjoyable to see a big name author flounder about
