Mob got news mitch was informing, they catch the fbi agent that spilled and informed wayne tartance, wayne told mitch and he took off. Crazy misdirection led him to pcb with his wife and ray. They bounced to two different rooms and with the mob leading away the fbi, they found their chance to escape via boat with abanks in the night. ends at them staying with george, fbi indicting the mob and firm and them on beach

Ray is broken out of jail
Mitch sent tammy to nashville trying to get the evidence over quick, I’m thinking its cause he is scared of going to caymans tomorrow

Mitch was busy tax day and had tax dinner with the boys
Went to see his brother, ended up going to nashville after to see abby discreetly
Told fbi about shell companies in caymans owned by morolto fam
They are on to him and made the guess about the girls in the caymans - if fingerprints or the fbi insider confirms hes informing, they plan to fly him somewhere and explode the plane

Starts: devasher sends the empty files to their house
The mob wants to make preliminary plans on eliminating mitch since they know about his fbi meeting in DC (the firm isnt too positive on that one though)
Mitch agrees to cooperate for 2mil and his brother free
Abby is down as well
Mitch works with tammy eddie lomax the PI’s old secretary to copy files over and deliver to the FBI
Post trip mitch will deliver files

Firm is owned by the mob, bendini was a philly mobster and started the firm, locke was raised by them in chicago as a kid, lambert was minda morphed into this, the head of the mob wants to off mitch, devasher exposes him with pictures of him cheating

Mitch and abby are tweaking about the firm, abby is still home for christmas, mitch went to go look at his mom, devasher had a tail on him this whole time, caymans girl he got with was hired, eddie lomax was killed

This man knows how to write a legal thriller. Like I’m only half way through and at the edge of my seat (I haven’t seen the movie but I’ll watch it after I’m done reading)

14% complete. Strong start! The firm’s generosity feels almost too perfect, and the mystery is keeping me turning the pages.

Gas, needed this. Blood meridian is good but definitely hardest McCarthy book I've read. Needed thjs to get out of reading slump
