Very informative book thus far. I like the fact that J.Freyd has put a name to its face: betrayal trauma—one kind of trauma that goes widely unknown.

Interesting yet so disturbing and infuriating. Betrayal by people close to you literally dis-regulates your endocrine system. The most damaging part? When you stand up for yourself and the DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse, Victim, Offender) method is used to villainize and ostracize you instead of addressing the problem.
