Relieved for the moment, dreading the future, Asher laughed with him.

He knew that as soon as he was out of sight they'd be whispering. Well, let 'em whisper.

After a point, the accent ceased to be noticeable (and swiftly ceased to exist) the pace is commendable and the intrigue is surprisingly well done and the characters likable. A very easy read so far.

While I understand it's part of the main character's backstory, nevertheless, the accent is really very annoying.

There are so many little writing things in this book that annoy me, but I'm enjoying it so far.

I loved her "Godspeaker" trilogy, so I thought I'd give her other work a chance.

finally managed to get back into the book but wow that transition was a huge pace killer and almost made this a DNF.

Really quite liking this book so far!

I think I may be stalled out. Question is, do I write this off as DNF or keep going?

and the book has lost momentum. there was a time jump and it's like starting from scratch. I enjoyed the first part but the sudden stop and restart is making it hard to keep going

So far I'm really liking this book, wish I had more time to be able to finish reading it.

I haven't figured out if things are coming to a head or what... Morg, what are you doing? And when will Prophecy fully come to fruition? Blargh! Getting to frustrating point where pieces are all on the board, but no one is making a decisive move...

Durm is bad mojo. Some aspects remind me of Graceling series in mood sense more than a plot sense...
