Status Updates From Dawn of the Dead

I shouldn't be liking this as much as I do, because on a line-to-line level it is borderline disastrous. Exclamation mark disastrous. It's kind of a long, almost abstract action scene though and that I dig.

I'm not sure if the point of view is just sloppily written and scatter-brained, or if there are supposed to be scene breaks to shift the POV that the narrator refuses to pause for and allow for those scene shifts the necessary breathing room.

I have something embarrassing to admit. I think I have actually never watched Dawn of the Dead.

I really wish they would have recorded the introduction Simon Pegg wrote for the recent print edition. What a missed opportunity!

Kicking off October with the perfect book. I'm very anxious to read this novelization.
