Status Updates From Dawn of the Dead

So . . . I've had this book for over thirty years and just now finally read it. I must say, I was very pleased. It was a fun, fast-paced read with an adequate amount of gore and suspense. ALSO . . . it is quite obvious that Robert Kirkman got a lot of ideas for his comic book series, The Walking Dead, from this book/movie, including the title. With the small cast of characters (four survivors), the book succeeded.
