I am glad to have a part of the conflict resolved, however Bens pain is apparent.

“By the time I make my move, I can feel the certainty of violence welling up in me” (Evison 191). This is a sensation that is very recognizable and relatable. I like the way the author describes it as a certainty, it was unique and effective.

It is finally getting interesting over halfway through the book-i dont know if it was a good choice or not

“And if thats not a convincing argument for eating your green beans, I don’t know what is” (Evison 104). This was funny but also sad, the way Benjamin uses this dry humor to try and recover from the loss of his family.

I hope this book gets exciting soon, so far it doesn’t seem very exciting
