Came for Lamb, am staying for Temple and Sufeen. They are amazing.

i feel bad for temple, he's so human it physically wounds me. rip sufeen, you wouldve probably been proud to see temple turning away from the company and "freeing" himself from cosca (love him but no one can deny that man is trouble incarnated). wonder where the lawyer will go now. sweet's fellowship seems legit (hope it is). it's nice to see shy smiling, n logen not pretending to be that much of a coward no more..

WE'RE SO BACK! logen is such an awesome character, im so glad we got to see his "true" side once again, all violent and ready to kill (mind, that wasnt even the b9. clearly just logen doing what needed doing and showing he settles scores really well). sweet's fellowship wont last long, i believe, he smells a bit like trouble to me. poor ro man, i wonder why the kids are being taken upriver though. maybe to work??

This wasn't what I expected from an Abercrombie fantasy. It's a western. A frontier story, a prospector story. I'm 2/3 through and still not sure I enjoy that aspect. What I'm absolutely sure I enjoy are the characters and the buckets of cameos from earlier books I'm being served.

CAUL FUCKING SHIVERS IS BACK! oh man, can't believe calder wants to settle his score with logen (well, he did kill bethod) and shivers is still on this whole vengeance shit. he literally said the same words as the bloody-nine before (love him tho its ok 'cause its shivers). wonder how calder figured out logen's alive, wonder if shivers will find him. the company has NO good men, obviously, its cosca we speak of LOL!!
