Status Updates From The Twinning Project

That was horrible. The plot was a mess and made no sense, as if the author (who apparently usually writes YA and adult) thought it didn’t matter because it’s for kids so who cares if he puts thought into it!!! It was offensive in so many ways and had boomer energy. I’m sorry but kids deserve better. What the actual fuck did I read.

I’m sorry, WHAT??? Is this supposed to be the learning experience the body shaming main character goes through, since this is the end of the book?? WTF is this????

1. This plot is a mess
2. We are getting information out of order again. It seems like the author frankensteined two drafts together and forgot to make it consistent

I really dislike the main character omg

The author keeps repeating information we already know lol. That was basically the same paragraph from 100 pages ago

The fat shaming / body shaming comments from the main character and the insistence of describing people as “coloreds” “negroes” and “orientals” from his twin from the 50s is really icky to read. If it wasn’t so short I’d probably put it down tbh
