Told myself I would take a break between these but here I am

It always takes awhile for a Malazan book to take shape. This one feels different in how it is coming together though because it's something of a prologue. We already know what the end result, so to speak, is going to be. If not how we get there.

Yep, just as confused as when I started the series. Equally intriguing and frustrating. This series so far should've made me drop it a long time ago but I can't put it down because I need to know where this goes. Every book so far has improved on the last one, except the 2nd. Just when you think you kinda understand what's going on, you soon realize you haven't the faintest because the puzzle keeps growing.
