The suspense is built really well. Harkness is certainly a bit of an idiot but I think that’s kinda funny, he is literally just ignoring 100s of red flags from this ghastly old man. I mean he literally shouted a verbal contract when you entered his house and you thought oh that’s odd and now “oh I’m in a monsters house” it’s funny!
