Such a short story, like a transient spark between this two sad after-war boys.I can't concretely describe how strong the author's writing skills are. BTW my preparation for CET6 exam was all about reading her novels. It's about faith not only the interest.

Crying. I love them. This story was filled with so much goodness, generosity and love. And everyone got their own little miracle, even if it was just hope.

Peter’s heart is so kind, yet so burdened. He deserves much

Oh poor Peter. He’s got the wrong idea, but how could he not?

Some of my favourites: gays and historical fiction. So far so promising

I like Whit, he’s realistic and compassionate.

Switching gears to some Tamara Allen, since I seem to be slipping into a reading slump and I’m confident her writing will pull me out of it

Eine wirklich schöne Liebesgeschichte über zwei Charaktere, die aus nicht verschiedeneren gesellschaftlichen Schichten stammen könnten und dennoch zueinander finden. Trotz der hoffnungslosen Atmosphäre verkörpern Peter und Whit ein Funken Hoffnung. Die gemeinsamen Szenen der beiden sind zum Teil sehr emotional, aber schön. Eine der anspruchsvolleren Short Stories.

this is taking me longer to read than i thought it would due to the prose - but not in a bad way! it is beautiful but just a bit more idk adulty than i'm used to??
