Downtime was originally published under the pen name James Allen.

I'd like to quickly mention that Invitation to the Dance was intended to be a light-hearted, fluffy bit of nonsense (and not as plot-heavy as my other stories.)
I'm sorry I didn't state that on publication, the way other writers usually do. If that's not the kind of book you like and you're unable to get a refund, please let me know. Thanks.

"I don't know if Louisa May Alcott intentionally *tried* to spoil her wonderful characters from "Eight Cousins", but either way she suceeded.

I picked up "Eight Cousins" when I was quite young, because I had nothing to read, and I'd enjoyed "Little..." Read more of this review »

The Road to Silver Plume by Tamara Allen
Hi, Madonna,
I think it's not at Kobo because it doesn't have an ISBN. It's up at Smashwords in different formats, and also in epub at B&N. If that doesn't work for you, please let me know.

“Jack hadn’t thought of love as a promise before—a promise that, even when the world was falling down around him, would stay kept. But without Sutton saying a word, he knew that there would be comfort when he couldn’t sleep tonight. And tomorrow and the day after, there would be a home to go to, even if it was no more than a pair of arms around him and a head tucked close to his in the darkness.”
Tamara Allen, Whistling in the Dark

“We all have so many faces. So many of which must be kept concealed.”
Tamara Allen, Downtime

“Yawning, I stumbled off the trolley after him and tried to get
out of the way of people rushing aboard. Apparently manners weren' t a thing of the past.
They' d never existed at all.”
