OK what is this?
Is this Robert Stanek's alter ego or something? Vague, confused writing, alluding to random things, obvious villains and heroes and an author crying they are bullied cuz the book has bad reviews?
I'm strapping in for a ride...

Something about this scene feels rather familiar...

Oh look, Chalice and whats-his-face-the-hero have their very own Strider at The Prancing Pony. I know LOTR is one of the fantasy greats, but lifting whole scenes? Tut tut.

God, it hurts, but I'm going to finish it anyway.
Chalice is officially my least favourite heroine. Scratch that, she's my least favourite character ever.
Don't really recommend.

maybe I should read the reviews before downloading, however it sounded interesting.

I tried to keep reading this book, but it became too painful. A slow start to a story is one thing and understandable when part of a series. However, basically nothing going on at all within this point I'm not hooked. This book and the rest of the series are trash fantasy.

At this point in any book a reader should start to feel for the characters or begin to revile them. To be honest right now I feel nothing for them. Why? Nothing really has happened worth mentioning. For any fantasy title that spells sudden death of reader investment in the story or characters.
