Status Updates From Lemon

I like Strube’s unusual style: she tries, in each moment, each scene, to capture being in the protagonist’s head, including all the leaping thoughts and interconnected confusion of all the concurrent things going on in their life. The problem with Lemon that Misconduct solves, is hope and balance. Lemon was unbelievably depressing and frustrating.

Not very far in but I can already say, I love the main character <3

Absolutely loved this book. The protagonist was real, the writing superb, (as if Strube would do any less), and the story engaging.

No wonder the corporations want us hooked on media gadgets. It keeps us quiet. p133

I take back what I said earlier. I'm totally into this book. What happened at that party just made me ill, and I'm on my lunch break. My heart is breaking for these girls.
