Status Updates From A Monster Calls

I almost finished this a long time ago. I think I borrowed it in middle school (at age 14~). It was a picture book version, I just found a paperback regular version at the used book shop for $2.

Excited to be reading this in October!!

This book made no sense at all! The blurb on the back doesn’t seem to fit the book at all - described as ‘an outrageously fun comedy’ ‘it made me Laugh out loud’
Seriously did they read a different book? I found it confusing, boring and weird! The main character effectively groomed Gore? The time travel made zero sense. Avoid avoid avoid!

Hermoso libro. Me encantó porque creo que si bien el personaje es de un niño y es una novela juvenil, ese sentimiento de culpa lo hemos sentido todos los que tuvimos a alguien enfermo.🤧 es algo muy humano
