Been choppy with my reading. Sinks its teeth in me when we’re in the present day but tends to lose me with too much detail of the past.

The character and world building thus far has been exceptional. I feel a connection with all the mentioned characters already and we haven’t even dived into the meat of it

This book is a overly wordy slog with characters so flat you could build a pizza on them.
