Why didn't you like the Hunger Games books? And I loved the book about Dewy Readmore books. The library cat. :)

The library cat. :)"I did like them - but I wouldn't say they were the best thing I'd ever read, which is why I guess the last two got 4 stars instead of 5 :) But I still thought they were really cool. If depressing overall ;)

LOL. Well I do have other low ratings, so perhaps you mistook those for Hunger Games ratings. Now I have to ask...why didn't YOU like them? :)
Well at the risk of spamming your challenge. *laughs* I didn't like the Hunger Games because no one warned me that they were basically Greek Tragedy. If I'd been warned I may have seen them differently. As it was, I felt like why are we feeling any kinship to any of these characters they all die. Then of course toward the end when her sister died. I felt like the author was just killing people off at that point for the hell of it. I felt like they weren't super well written either, there were gaps for me. Course I feel that way about the Harry Potter books as well. Of course that could have more to do with me reading the classics of lit like Shakespeare, Austin, Doyle etc.
