I started writing poetry in 1st grade then began a "school newspaper" where I hand-wrote all the copies myself in 7th grade. I finally got around to writing stories when my children were young, finishing most of the stories years later. When my youngest child started school, I worked a bit harder to complete the stories and even write "A Story A Day" for when they came home from school. Tymberfeld was my third novel but the first one published. I am currently working on the second Tymberfeld book. I hope to have my other novels and short stories out there soon. I've learned a lot from this first book, mostly how important editing is, but also that there is a great need for more books that aren't full of bad morals, bad language and bad tast ...more
