I've loved comedy my whole life, but I never thought I could actually create comedy until I took a playwriting class in college and realized that people thought my plays were funny. Once I learned that I could make people laugh, I knew that's what I would spend my life doing. The best part about being a playwright is getting to see my plays performed in front of an audience...there's no better feeling than the one I get when I hear a room full of people laughing at something I wrote!(less)

Rebecca Douglass So glad you're enjoying the Ninja Librarian! He's modeled (in a very loose and mostly totally imaginary way) after the former head librarian at the branch where I work, though I can't imagine the real Tom knocking any heads together!
