The Efficient Markets Hypothesis gave the investor a democratic alternative to following the cult of the investment guru.
In what way is it "democratic"? Do they mean that investors have to vote on what they want to invest in? Isn't it actually more private, and less democratic? Isn't it liberated by property and proprietary?
