Carole Wood His novels are great. Stream of consciousness style autofiction and he other novels are multi story.

message 3: by Frank

Frank Wood I read one of James Frey’s how to books about writing, can’t remember which but it was very good on the topic of premise in a novel or story.

message 2: by Frank

Frank Wood I've read Jon Ronson's Them and The Men Who Stared at Goats. I find his style a little irritating but maybe he uses humour to soften the impact. The "Goats" book is as scary as hell!

message 1: by Frank

Frank Wood Oh I love H P Lovecraft! The father of modern sci fi horror with incredible descriptions of alien artifacts.

He also from time to time seems to have some sympathy with poor aliens that happen to come to Earth!
