“විශ්වවිද්යාලය බොහෝ දෙනා අදහස් කරන පරිදි බහුශ්රැතභාවය බෙදා දෙන තැනක් නොවේ. විද්යාර්ථින් විසින් තෝරා ගන්නා ලද ඒ ඒ විෂයට නිවැරදි සම්ප්රාප්තිය ලබා දෙන ආයතනයකි. අවුරුදු තුන හතරක් විශ්වවිද්යාලයක ගත කිරීමෙන් ලද හැකි බහුශ්රැතභාවය කුමක්ද? එයින් ලබා ගත හැක්කේ ඊට නිවැරදි මග පෙන්වීම පමණකි. බහුශ්රැතයෙකු විය හැක්කේ ඒ මාර්ගය දිගේ බොහෝ කලක් ගමන් කිරීමෙනි. කෙනෙකු බහුශ්රැතයෙකු වීම ඇරඹෙන්නේ විශ්වවිද්යාලයෙන් පිට වූ තැන සිටය.”
