“Do they sense it, these dead writers, when their books are read? Does a pinprick of light appear in their darkness? Is their soul stirred by the feather touch of another mind reading theirs? I do hope so. ”

“Deliver me from writers who say the way they live doesn't matter. I'm not sure a bad person can write a good book. If art doesn't make us better, then what on earth is it for.”

Sara wrote: "Hi Robin, thanks for the friend add. Your Viking shelf looks amazing! :)"Thanks, Sara. Sometimes I have to make myself read something other than vikings, because if I had my druthers, it's all I would ever read. Still searching for the perfect viking novel, however.
Looking forward to reading your reviews.
A novel set in 10th century Greenland. That might be a new idea. I haven't heard of any stories in that setting.
