"A really fascinating and ground breaking novel; this is only the second book by this author that I have read, but he is a truly original writer and stylist. I particularly liked the ‘echoes’ of characters occurring and reoccurring throughout the time"

"Exceptional writing style, and an excellent short and engaging plot. I particularly enjoyed the familiar setting of Scarborough. A great read, but I imagine that I will soon forget the details."

"Bucky & Dinah are going to be treasured characters forevermore, and they were in the safest of hands with Benjamin Myers. This book has a pulse. You feel it from the get go and you feel it build and build throughout until the most glorious of endings"

I am really excited that I have discovered Benjamin Myers. Now if I can only find a way to buy his books so that he gets paid! Beastings is on Amazon, but Turning Blur and Pig Iron are only available through used book dealers. I hope Bluemoose Booke still has copies for sale.
