محمد ولد إمام، شاعر وكاتب وإعلامي ومترجم. صدرت له عدة دواوين شعرية منها:

وحي الفجر (2005)، أشعار (2018)، أنخاب الأصائل (2021).
كشكول الحياة 2020، ديوان المُناجاة 2024، دليل المدقق اللغوي 2025
حاصل على ليسانس الإعلام من جامعة عين شمس – القاهرة،

نال عدة جوائز أدبية عربية منها الجائزة الأولى في الشعر العربي من كلية الآداب وشارك في برنامج "أمير الشعراء"،
وترجم له معجم الباطين للشعراء العاصرين 2015.
نال عدة تكريمات منها: تكريم من الرئيس الموريتاني 2014، وتكريم من قسم الإعلام جامعة عين شمس 2008، وتكريم من نادي الطلاب 2006 وتكريم من الجالية الوريتانية بالدوحة 2024.
ويكتب في الجزيرة نت ومجلة العربي الكويتية ومجلة الثقافى الموريتانية ومجلة لصحافة الصادرة عن معهد الجزيرة ومجلات ومواقع عربية أخرى.

Mohamed Ould Imam is a Mauritanian poet, translator, and journalist. He has published several acclaimed poetry collections, including Wahy al-Fajr (2005), Ash‘aar (2018), and Ankhab al-Asa’il (2021).

A graduate in Media Studies from Ain Shams University in Cairo, he is also a certified English translator for Mauritanian courts and the U.S. Embassy in Nouakchott.

His works have been recognized with literary awards in Mauritania, Egypt, and across the Arab world. He participated in the Abu Dhabi TV program Amir al-Shu‘ara (“Prince of Poets”) and contributes regularly to Al Jazeera and other media outlets.

Through his poetry and translations, Mohamed seeks to bridge Mauritanian heritage with contemporary Arabic literature, offering a voice that is both rooted and universal.
