I think of myself as an imagination enabler; a dreamer and a writer of children’s books and custom stories for struggling or reluctant readers. I believe in fairy tales and superheroes.

I also write flash fiction, short stories, eulogies and essays; and I hope to finish the novel that I am working on before the end of the year.

The empty nest has helped my writing, but I still love to be with my husband and my children (5), and grandchildren (5). There is an adorable little infant that I babysit, she sleeps and I write. There is also Chica, the little brown dog and two cats, one of whom is P.B. Cat; my writing helper and sometimes pen name.
