Hi - the cheapest paperback option currently is at WH Smith online http://www.whsmith.co.uk/products/blo...

Also, if you put in a library request they should be able to get it for you (which I would find very cool). I know what you mean about Kindle but I got the free app from Amazon for my laptop and phone and now I'm loving it.

If your book club do read it - which would be so exciting - and you wanted any background info on the research/anything, I'm at c.hokin@hotmail.co.uk(less)
Catherine Hokin I write something else! I write short stories and a blog so I can mix it up when the novels are fighting me.

“The world had been out of balance for far too long. It was time, at last to level the scales.”
Catherine Hokin, What Only We Know

“We haven't been much use to you.' He shook his head as she tried to speak. 'It's best I finally face the truth, even if it is too late to mend things. We thought the world would always be ours, you see. And we're not equipped for what it's become. Your mother is my centre, Liese; Lottie is yours. Let us go; keep what matters safe.”

Inge’s nerves were on edge. She had spent the last four weeks counting the days, expecting the trip to Berlin to be derailed on a whim, the same way she suspected Max had granted it. Now there was only one night left and its hours stretched endlessly. She had given up trying to sleep, given in instead to her need to check and recheck every last inch of the arrangements. Everything was, of course, as it should be. Her suitcase still waited in the hall, Wolf’s smaller one beside it. The tickets were still safe in her handbag, the travel papers stamped for exiting Argentina and entering Germany ready in their wallet. The sight of them”
