Chris is a poet and writer of short stories. Having written poetry for many years, she came to the attention of her publisher after writing 'Poppies Grow in Solace', a tribute to the one hundredth anniversary of the start of World War 1. Her book 'The Small Step Journey' contains this and many other poems and was a finalist in the poetry category for a Golden Crown Literary Society award (a Goldie). Chris is honoured to have been recently appointed as Poet-In-Residence for GO! Great Opportunities and GO! Palace Plymouth. She looks forward to being a representative of GO! and introducing them to more people through her poetry. A native of the USA, she now resides in England. ...more
