“Maybe we should take a break. I’m getting hungry anyway” I suggested.
“Yeah, I guess that wouldn’t be a bad idea” he said.
There we sat in the middle of a booby trapped tunnel eating bread and cooked chicken. I could only imagine how ridiculous we looked. For a short while neither of us said anything; we simply ate in peace. Eventually though, Jack had enough silence.
“I should have brought some pick axes.”
