Michellan Sarile-Alagao writes, edits, watches way too many kdramas, Hindi movies, and reruns of Law & Order: SVU, and reads poetry. Her poems and personal essays have been featured in various anthologies.

Mich has written a full-length poetry collection (After the Sunstone, 2016), a verse-novella (Black, 2020), a children’s book (The Sad Cat, 2022), and two chapbooks (Maps of Tenderness, 2018; Elena and Other Stories, 2023).
