there are no words to describe how much i've loved this book.

i've been waiting for eliava's book for years now — ever since we got that small scene in the epilogue of Ruthless Empire .

so it wasn't anything that i expected because we were teased a very different version of their romance and we got something entirely different in the end. however, i can't say i'm disappointed because this book is one of RK's best work.

we got a FMC that doesn't look like a carbon copy of all the previous ones and her banter with Eli were absolutely everything i could dream of. i loved how she did everything to drive him nuts but how she was also soft and needy and wasn't afraid to ask for things from him.

these two own my heart and i know for sure that i'll keep coming back to this book ♥ ...more "
