I really like how you can connect what happens, and some of the characters to fairy tales. Even though Sophie is supposed to be the ‘god character’ at the beginning, when I started reading the book, none of the characters were very likable. As the book went on, I started liking Agatha more and more. I like the idea that the only way to get out of a fairy tale is to live through one, but I don’t think that the school master was incorporated throughout the story as much as he should have been. I like seeing how Sophie and Agatha’s relationships change throughout the book. Agatha only wants to get home, while Sophie wants to stay, and try to get into the school for good. There was kind of a lot of different things going on. For example, the school master, trial by tale, surviving in their own schools, Tedros, and although they kind of related to one another, I wish there was a stronger connection. In the end, I think that The School for Good and Evil was a good book, and if you haven’t read it yet, you should....more
