Sam Ashurst is a filmmaker, journalist, and cartoonist, known for his love of VHS horror, cult cinema, and stories that push the boundaries of genre fiction.

As the writer/director of the critically acclaimed A LITTLE MORE FLESH films and former co-host of the Arrow Video Podcast, Ashurst has spent his career celebrating the weird, the wonderful, and the disturbing.

When he’s not writing, Ashurst can be found digging through VHS bins, debating the merits of monster movies, and unearthing forgotten films for new audiences to discover.
